Funding a pioneer minister at a new church plant

Recently, three evangelical churches in the North of London have started to work together to pioneer, establish and secure a gospel work and a living church in Ponders End, an area of significant social deprivation with a real gospel need.

The vision is to relaunch a church in the parish of St Matthews Ponders End that is classically evangelical in belief and practice, strong on Bible teaching and supported both in prayer and financially by a regional network of churches.

The hope is to appoint a pioneer minister in summer 2023 to lead this work with the ongoing support of the local churches - to build links with the local community, gather together a core team and launch the new church.

The LGST has agreed to provide financial support to this project and is raising funds to do so.
